Jura
House Gardensis one of the essential
places to visit on Jura, half way between the ferry and Craighouse there is convenient parking beside the main road and some excellent
walks through the woods and fields. We walked down to the small beach
which is ideal for sand and small kids. Always bear in mind that there
are strong currents and you should not swim and that violet jellyfish
are harmless but the brown ones sting badly.
We had a 4 year old along with us and he managed the steep paths down
fine and the steep paths up also.
